I’m going to be interested to see how he goes about it.

Like another commenter said, he’s often positioned it as a technology company that makes cars. However, what he think and how it’s perceived by people are two very different things.

Tesla very much is seen as a car company by the masses.

Reflecting on the whole Twitter/X history, perhaps he should get a professional’s input on this before deciding to move forward.

Elon has been saying for a long time that Tesla isn't an automobile company. It's always been a software company that makes cars. Now it's a software company that makes a lot of different things. The core business hasn't changed. It's always been software.

Also, sidenote: verification codes for leaving a comment? that's ridiculous.
