Hey AI Break fam 👋 Luis & Rui here.

ChatGPT isn’t just a chatbot anymore. It’s now one of the top 5 most visited sites on the planet, used by 700 million people every week to find products, services, and advice.

If you want your brand to appear when people ask ChatGPT for recommendations, you need to know how to rank inside ChatGPT’s retrieval system → not just on Google.

Here’s our 4-pillar system to make that happen 👇

⚙️ Step 1: Nail the SEO Fundamentals

Before you can rank anywhere, whether it’s Google, Bing, or ChatGPT, your website needs to be technically perfect.

AI platforms like ChatGPT rely heavily on crawlers and retrieval systems (mainly Bing and Google).
If your website isn’t crawlable, indexable, or readable, it won’t exist in ChatGPT’s retrieval layer.

Start here:

  1. Make sure your site is indexed.
Go to Google and search: site:yourdomain.com
    - If you see few or no results, check your /robots.txt.
    - If it says Disallow: /, crawlers are blocked, meaning AI systems can’t read your site either.
    - Change it to Allow: / or fix your sitemap reference.

  2. Stick to HTML.
    - If your website runs on JavaScript-heavy platforms like Replit or some no-code builders, crawlers might not “see” your content at all.
    - ChatGPT can’t render JavaScript well, so it ignores complex, non-HTML websites.
    - Use platforms like WordPress, Webflow, or custom HTML setups that serve static, readable content.

  3. Speed is everything.
    - AI crawlers are ruthless with slow pages.
    - Aim for under 2.5 seconds loading time.
    - A 1-second delay can drop conversions by 7%.
    - Compress images, use a CDN, lazy-load videos, and remove heavy scripts.

📝 Prompt (do a technical audit to your website):

## Role:
Senior Technical SEO Consultant

## Task:
Audit my website to identify crawling, indexing, and speed issues that prevent it from ranking in ChatGPT and traditional search.

## Context:
I want to improve visibility across AI platforms that rely on web retrieval, like ChatGPT and Bing.

## Structure:
1. Analyze robots.txt and sitemap for errors.
2. Verify HTML accessibility (no JavaScript rendering issues).
3. Measure Core Web Vitals and suggest 5 key improvements.
4. Identify broken links and duplicate content.
5. Output a table: Issue | Description | Fix | Priority | Expected Impact.

## Tone:
Precise, technical, solution-oriented.

💡 Why it matters:
If ChatGPT can’t crawl your site, it can’t rank it.
Technical accessibility is the invisible foundation behind every ChatGPT recommendation.

📈 Step 2: Dominate Your Topic (Build Authority the Smart Way)

Once your foundation is solid, you need to own your niche.
