Hi everyone 👋 Rui & Luis here with an AI-branding deep dive.

Want to teach ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and other LLMs exactly who you are, so your name and expertise surface in AI-driven searches (and boost your Google rankings)?

🧰 What You Need

  • ChatGPT (with web-search enabled)

  • Google Gemini (or similar LLM with live data)

  • Personal “About Me” page on your website

  • Authoritative external channels

  • Optimized LinkedIn profile

1. Audit Your AI Footprint 🔍

Before you start optimization, you must establish a clear baseline of what each model and Google currently “sees” when they index your personal brand.

a. Set Up Your Audit Log

  • Create a simple spreadsheet with columns:

    • Model (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Google Search)

    • Prompt/Search Query (the exact text you use)

    • Date

    • Output Summary (key roles, skills, achievements listed)

    • Gaps & Errors (missing expertise, incorrect details)

b. ChatGPT Audit

  1. In ChatGPT (enable web search), ask:

Who is [Your Name]? (enable web search)
  1. Copy the response into Output Summary.

  2. Note any missing or misstated elements under Gaps & Errors (e.g., “Email marketing expert” absent, wrong company affiliation).

c. Google Gemini Audit

  1. In Gemini, ask:

Who is [Your Name]?

Record the summary and flag discrepancies versus ChatGPT and your own profile.

d. Incognito Google Search

  1. Open a private/incognito window.

  2. Search for “[Your Name]” and then “[Your Name] [Key Skill or Title]” (e.g., “Rui Santos email marketing”).

  3. Capture your top 5 results, noting:

    • Which domains appear (LinkedIn, Medium, personal site)

    • Whether your official profiles rank

    • Any incorrect or unrelated profiles

e. Analyze & Prioritize

  • Determine your highest-impact gaps (e.g., consistent absence of “automation expert”).

  • Prioritize corrections by potential ROI:

    1. Add missing core expertise

    2. Correct inaccuracies

    3. Standardize naming conventions

With this detailed audit, you’ll know exactly where AI visibility is strong—and where to focus your efforts.

2. Build & Optimize Your “About” Assets 🏗️
